Medical Qualifications

Mr Anthony Antoniou qualified from Cambridge University in 1992 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. His subsequent higher surgical training has been at King’s College Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, London and completed a laparoscopic fellowship at the Hamlyn Unit of St Mary’s Hospital. In 2006 Mr Antoniou was awarded a Master of Science from the University of London as a result of his laboratory-based research into colorectal cancer.

Medical Experience and Training

He has been an integral part of the development of the colorectal unit at Royal Marsden Hospital due, in part, to his introduction of laparoscopic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery to the colorectal unit at the hospital. He has a special interest in enhanced recovery for colorectal patients.

Mr Antoniou sees patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic, London.
