Medical Qualifications 

Mr Jian Farhadi graduated from the University of Basel, Switzerland and completed his medical training at Yale University, USA and London.  

Mr Farhadi provides all types of breast reconstructions including the DIEP flap and implant based reconstruction with acellular dermal matrix. He is well known to provide own tissue breast reconstruction in thin patient with the SGAP and TMG (TUG) flaps.

Furthermore he has specialised in biodimensional breast augmentation and breast lift with the internal bra technique.

Medical Experience

Mr Farhadi is the Founder, and a trustee, of the registered charity, Bra Foundation. The charity raises awareness of options in breast reconstruction for women facing mastectomy (surgical removal of one or both of the breasts).

He is a reader at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Basel and is involved in much research into breast reconstruction, a topic on which he regularly lectures.

Mr Farhadi is Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at both Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital, and King's College Hospital, London where he also treats as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. Mr Farhadi specialises in Breast and Abdominal Surgery and has a special interest in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery. He is available for private appointments at 9 Harley Street BMI, Codagan Clinic and The Platinum Medical Centre all based in London.
